NicheSeer is a read-only seller decision-support application. Etsy-derived processing remains unavailable unless the required provider configuration and Etsy's exact written analytics authorization are present.

Acceptance

By selecting Connect Etsy, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not connect an Etsy account.

Service boundary

NicheSeer may display synthetic research fixtures and, when enabled and authorized, one current own-shop proof fetched as the connecting seller completes Connect Etsy. The connection requests only listings_r and transactions_r. Later proof views make no Etsy request; reconnecting is required for a fresh proof. NicheSeer does not edit listings, send messages or email, place orders, access another seller's private shop data, or request write, profile, address or buyer-email permissions.

Analytics authorization

Commercial Access and seller OAuth consent do not replace Etsy's separate written authorization for automated analytics. NicheSeer keeps Etsy-derived analytics fail-closed until that exact authorization is recorded. No user may use NicheSeer to scrape Etsy, bypass the Etsy API, defeat access controls or process Etsy data outside the granted scopes and approved purpose.

Sessions, disconnect and deletion

OAuth access and refresh tokens exist only in callback invocation memory while NicheSeer creates the proof, then are discarded. The authenticated-encrypted HttpOnly browser cookie stores only the safe proof, granted scopes and a CSRF value for an absolute maximum of five hours and forty-five minutes. NicheSeer keeps no server-side connected-shop database or token record. Disconnect Etsy and Delete my data clear the local proof and connection cookies; revoking the Etsy-side grant requires Etsy Shop Manager > Apps > Connected apps > Disconnect.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for connecting only an Etsy account you are authorized to use and for decisions made from NicheSeer output. Synthetic estimates and application-generated summaries are not Etsy rank, search-volume, conversion or performance guarantees.
