Using NicheSeer
- Use the search field or press / to find fixture listings, shops, niches and keywords.
- Open a row or card to inspect its evidence label and source limitations.
- Watch, compare and experiment-preview state resets with the browser session.
Connecting an own shop
When the read-only connection is enabled and Etsy's required written analytics authorization is configured, Connect Etsy requests only listings_r and transactions_r. Selecting Connect Etsy also accepts the Terms and Privacy Policy. Completing that seller-initiated flow makes one fixed own-shop fetch. The resulting safe proof is displayed immediately; later views make no Etsy request, and reconnecting is required for fresh proof. NicheSeer performs no scheduled polling.
Connection retention
The OAuth access and refresh tokens exist only in callback invocation memory and are discarded after the fixed fetch. An authenticated-encrypted HttpOnly cookie keeps only the safe proof, granted scopes and a CSRF value for an absolute maximum of five hours and forty-five minutes. NicheSeer has no server-side connected-shop database or token record. It does not retain or expose raw buyer emails, addresses, profiles or order records.
Disconnecting and deleting
- Disconnect Etsy clears NicheSeer's local proof and connection cookies.
- Delete my data clears the same local data; there is no server-side connected-shop record to delete.
- To revoke the grant at Etsy, open Etsy Shop Manager, choose Apps, choose Connected apps, find NicheSeer and select Disconnect.
Unavailable capabilities
NicheSeer has no Etsy write, email, profile, address or buyer-email permission. Etsy-derived analytics remains fail-closed until Etsy grants exact written authorization. The presence of this support page does not claim that the hosted connection is deployed, enabled or approved.
